Back from ze LFS! I got a Nerite Snail and a Java Fern. The snail's name is Octavius. I'm going to QT him, but does anyone know if I can just keep the Fern in Chloranited water for a day and add it? Oh, and Miah, how big of a cage do Chins need?

Hrmm, ok. I'm not sure what's going on with the Java Fern, it has this fleshy colored stuff that feels like cotton on the bottom. I just picked it off one stalk, I hope it wasn't the rhizome....

Woah, that's huge 0.0 do they each have one, or live together? And do they really move very much?

They share. Males usually fight but mine are brothers that have never been seperated. Well, thats not true. We brought Mo home 2 months before Lego. They are actually very active. Usually their personalities really differ by color. White ones are very active, not shy, and outgoing, grey ones are shy and reserved and not that active.

And they are nocturnal, so they are much more active during the night. But since they are kept in captivity where humans are awake during the day, they will still eat and play during the day. But mostly just relax.
