I don't care for alcohol in my food. It throws off the taste. At least, it does to me. But then, I don't like the taste of alcohol.

One of my neighbors is playing the drums. I think it's the new sheriff who moved ina few houses down across the street because no one has ever played the drums before.

I fed Diablo his first live food, and he loved it! What was it, you ask? Deshelled Pond Snail well, I guess "freshly killed" is a better term.

I think... his fins are starting to look like they aren't so ratty, maybe by the time the weekend is over I can take him off he salt and treat those parasites. I hope.

Yeah, with anchor worms, AQ salt won't help. It normally would help with all other kinds of external parasites but those anchor worms dig in under the scales so a little bit of extra slime coat probably isn't enough to dislodge them. Poor Scuzi boy.

JimJam, how'd you get the meat out of the shell without smashing the shell into tiny bits?

Had to take Anju out. Someone bit off all her dorsal. First time she's been alone in months so she looks totally lost and alone in her 5g QT.

Well, I WAS using some needle nose pliers, but i crushed it. So I just tried to seperate it. I couldn't feel crunchy bits, but I guess some shell was still in it.

Enh, a little roughage. I figured it was kinda hard to deshell a snail without crushing it. I've never tried it though. Sounds . . . squishy.

I rehomed the platies, found my missing rummynose (still alive, thank goodness) and now I just have to see if my platy pulls through. And then I get to restock. It looks pretty empty.
