My dad already volunteered me to do the neighbors driveway -_- but these people are the old "In my day, a nickel could buy you a dog!" people. I'm not expecting more than $5 -_- there's this group of teenagers I don't know that go around each year, the must make boatloads! I actually don't think they live in this neighborhood.

You'd be able to afford a car from the snow we got last year, seriously, in a three week time span we went from nothing to having cars completely buried.

Hiyo everyone! Sheesh, it takes over a half hour to change the water in Koichiro's tank. And someone stole the stepping stool I stand on. I feel so short.

To answer your question, JimJam, with lots of plants and 2X water changes, yes, you can have a temporary sorority. I'll send you my Penguin 100 filter if you want it because I don't think I'll be using it in the foreseeable future. Seriously. Only problem is it has no flow adjustor so you would have to baffle it.

junker, guy across the street is always working on one or another
I Can just attach a piece of foam over the filter outflow to baffle it? I mean the foam like I stick in the bottom of the filter? And nylon to keep the plantlets out of the filter intake? I gotta spend some time working on the sorority. Even the mass of java fern roots is trying to lift out.

You could try it. I've stuffed filter wool in front of the outflow of my AquaClear before. I'm not sure if the foam from the filter itself is too thick and you'll have to find a sheet of filter media or not. Hmm.

Well, the girls caught onto pellets tonight, I just didn't want to get out the dropper and fuss with that, but I needed to feed them. Well they ate heartily at least.
