Having problems again! :( My new betta Henderson is not eating. His infection is pretty much gone, but he's still barely swimming most of the day and he won't eat. I don't know what to do :(
Oh, also, Chester is still itching the top of his head, but the white under his head seems to be going away. Should I just give up on betta revive and get some aquarium salts instead? -.-
Blythe, it might take a day or so for Henderson to settle into his new home before he'll eat. Keep trying. Is Henderson in Betta Revive too? As for Chester, it does sound like the Betta Revive is helping him so keep treating him with that until the 7 days runs out. It might take a few days to completely get rid of the flukes that are causing him to itch.
Tisia, they were in the bag when they got here. They have been in a mash potato medium since getting here. They look well tan to brown, and not really white...
Be back in a few finishing up water changes.
Did I mention I am up to 19 bettas now haha.
hmm, I've always done the oatmeal with yeast sprinkled on top. they do look more off white.

could be since it messes with the hierarchy and all

Yes, my shy little Henderson is in betta revive too. It helped him SO much. All the white on him is clearing up, he looks less translucent, his fins even look better, and he's starting to respond a little better. I was singing and he came to the front of his tank to see what was going on so that's a good sign. I think betta revive didn't work so well for chester in the first place because I had a filter in his tank and it was filtering his meds too much. I think I'm gonna go pick up a heater for Henderson tomorrow, and maybe once he's more active and eating a bigger tank. His is 3/4ths the size of Chester's and it makes me feel bad since I want to put him in the biggest tank I can afford to :(
