Bekah, for internal filters, I've also used the Marineland Duetto 50 and 100 with success and the Cascade Internal Filter. The Fluval internal filters are very nice because of hte 5 stage filtration but expensive and BIG! I got the Fluval 4 for my 20g and it was so big it literally didn't fit in the tank. It was too tall. o.O

yeah i was looking at the fluval internal filters too and they were way up there in price @_@
i'll look again at the duetto and the cascade, i didnt look that close at those and i dont remember the prices xD

yeah. i liked the look of the fluval chi, buuuut 60 or 70 bucks for a 5 gallon is waaaay out of my price range

plus im convinced im a deal finder because of my $5 29 gallon
