Haha, I hear ya. I think my sorority needs new plants but my mom refuses. She also hated it when I tried them in a 15 gallon and made me move them back into 10.

EDIT: Sherm will hover protectively over Gonzo (my apple snail) when he eats his lettuce leaf.

Soooo, I have tons of baby snails. 2 of 3 mystery snail egg sack hatched a little while back....makes water changes in the fry tank impossible...@_@
all the fry are doing wonderful.

So I have my 9 gal BiUbe is empty. Still running to keep the bacteria alive. So either I will set it up as a small community tank, or keep it empty for future sorority again.

Any ideas?

Amph, put the baby snails in the BiUbe. They'll keep the cycle going and help make the water changes in the fry tank easier.

Haha, Sherm does seem fond of Gonzo, which is good. I was afraid they'd hate each other.

I was thinking about it Sakura, but they are TINY! Besides I want to get a 10 gal and set them up in there as a snail breeding tank.

Yeah, but to be honest, not too many fish will be happy in a BiUbe because it's so tall and narrow. There's not a lot of room to move back and forth, which is what most fish want to do. Snails would make the most use of it 'cause they can climb up the walls.

I wanna see baby apple snails, by the way! Post a pic! :)

Tiki, my apple snail is great at playing dead. He's worried me several times, the little bugger.

Sakura how would baby like 3 week old - 2 month old platys do in it? AND how much care do they need? There is a person who is giving away babies free.
Tetras? Will they do alright in it?
I will get some new pics of everything up soon. The baby snails some may go in there, but I want to place most into the breeding tank. If I can get a lot I can supply my LFS with those too.
