Night Silverfang!
:T The only problem is that I have huge plants that need cleaning too, and they can't fit in my RCS tank. xD So I'm dropping pest snails into my 10g hoping they'll do work and clean off the algae attacking my plants.

And noooooo, mah RCS, I need to get a female, it's all males right now.

Sakura had her own poptarts! Normally I only eat the frosted brown sugar and cinnamon but I decided to try frosted strawberry. I like the brown sugar ones better.

Tiki, that's incredible! I can't believe that poor fish survived but I'm glad his owners took care of him.

Aargh.
Koi/Goldie 55g
Ammonia 0 Nitrite 0 Nitrate 40

Coldwater 29g
Ammonia 0-.25 Nitrite .25 Nitrate 20

NPT 20g
Ammonia 0-.25 Nitrite 0 Nitrate 10

Sorority 10g
Ammonia 0-.25 Nitrite 0 Nitrate 10

So why, with low levels of nitrates, do I still have brown algae in my sorority and NPT? And dang, check out the nitrate in the koi/goldie tank. 40 and under is the goal, right? If that's the case, I dumped a whole bunch of Prime in the 55g and I'm going back to sleep. It's raining and I don't feel like doing a water change this morning. I'm a bad fish owner.

Also, the very expensive Chemi-Pure that claims to reduce levels of all sorts of toxins isn't working. Unless it DID reduce the nitrates in the goldie tank. Which is a scary thought because it means the levels had to be over 40ppm.

Maybe it reduced them but the test isn't picking it up?

I only eat the brown sugar and cinnamon ones! They're the nommiest. I actually don't like any of the other ones. xP
I did my wc yesterday, goblin is constantly looking at me and swimming to the side of the room I'm sitting in. He is however, hovering near the heater a lot, which is making me wonder if the heater is crapping out on me. The therm is on the other side of the tank and it's still reading 80. Idkkkk can't wait to get this 10gal tank running!

Lmao. Goblin swam over and was staring at me, so I wiggled my fingers at him and he swam up and hurried off. Like 'Oh shizz Ive been caught!' I know you little fishie, I don't know who watches who more. Me or him.

any of u no what the highest tolerable amonia level is for a betta?
Do you mean for doing a cycle? or do you mean the highest ammonia level I have gotten from a store cup?

For cycling, I did water changes when it went to .5
There is ammonia in my tap though so it normally reads .25, so for me .5 is really the equilivant of .25
I don't know about nitrite but for NitrAte, you want it to be under 40

In a cup, however, the highest reading I had was an 8.0. Poor thing almost didn't make it out of walmart alive.

Prime says it detoxifies nitrite and nitrate and that up to 5 times the normal dosage can be used in an emergency. So I dumped 3 capfuls into the 55g and I hope that takes care of it till this afternoon.

Jen, yeah, the brown sugar/cinnamon ones are like dessert. :D

I'm gonna take a nap. I'm feeling soooooo lazy. What an asset to humanity I am today. :P

Bye all.
