No! lol Because they're so ugly!! I worked at a drug store across the street from an old age assisted living home. One of the old men had an ancient yorkie .. It lost all its teeth, he lost his fur and had cataracts and arthritis. He looked like a burn victim. I t was a sin. Time isn't a treasure to those types of dogs.!!
I love yorkies but when they get old they look gross! lol
Considering small dogs can live like 13-15 years makes sense they get so ugly.
Our neighbor had a mini doxie, 6 years old, his WHOLE face was grey. That's not even old.
Sadly he got liver problems and died a few weeks ago. :(
The dog I used to dog-sit was an old fat jack russell. She was blind, couldn't hear good, and had this recurring cough that would make her poot. She was a stinky dog, but she more than made up for it in character. I was sleeping on the couch one time, and I was in the beginnings of bronchitis (haha) and was coughing all over the place. Every time I coughed, she would jump up on the side of the couch and look at me, like she was checking to see if I was okay. She was sweet. <3 Shes is doggie heaven now.
AW, sorry to hear about the Doxie :( That's so sad!!
My terrier mutt was about 20 lbs and lived to be 14 years old. NOBODY believed me- look at him in this video, still running. We took this video a week or two before we made our decision. (we didn't make our decision based on his appearance) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AcUVa...&feature=g-upl
All dogs age differently ^.^ Even the vet looked at us weird when we brought him in...
