Honeys are peaceful- they probably just all have enough room to get away from each other, even if they are boys. Maybe some bloodworms or something would colour them up more? I doubt aquarium plants give fish a lot of pigment. xD

Yea, I'm guessing they tan as the baby inside grows.

URG. someone was selling a 50 gallon salt water tank with live rock and live sand, a huge sump and all equipment, for $100. URRRG. The ad is already gone. Why must kijiji have these random bursts of awesomeness that I can't partake in.

Tiki, then you can just get a replacement light strip, no need to get a whole hood unless you need it. Aww, I'll keep my fingers crossed for John but haha, yeah, at least he can eat. That seriously must have been some trip the two of you had when you came back to NYC
I would hate to do it twice in less then 6 months. It took 10 days with only 3 hotel stops

I wants a salt water tank

Olympia, I usually feed brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, some bloodworms. Why they eat the plants too . . . I hope they do color up, though.

Tiki, I remember when my brother and father drove from CA to Rhode Island in January with a uHaul in a 1987 Toyota Camry station wagon. o.O They've never quite been the same since.

The filter has to run for 24 hours and then I can add the fishies in. And set up the plants.

The java fern is probabl the only thing that will survive. It's old as the hills and has a rhizome that has to be 6 inches on one of them.

I'm going to bed

Sakura- that pond actually looks cool. Honestly at first I was all "a water trough? That's gonna look dumb". But it looks like, rustic, but like a different take on the classic fish pond at the same time. And I gotta stop watching design shows.

Anyways, it's bed time, can't believe this was only Tuesday. My life is pretty much just counting down days until the weekend. xD

Well, Olympia, it won't win any design awards, that's for sure. XD It's pretty plain. It'll look better once the plants are in, though. :)
