Wish me luck, I'm about to tackle the black brush algae in my 20g. According to the info, 60 ml of hydrogen peroxide x 3 and the fish *should* be okay. I don't know if I really want to tear the plants out to treat them in a Rubbermaid. Aaaagh, I keep yanking baby snails out. Where the deuce were they hiding????
Hm hydrogen peroxide should be fine. It will dissolve into water and oxygen gas over time, can't see that harming the fish! ;)
Let me know how that works out for you.
Last time I said I have two bettas but I can't put pictures into my computer. Well, I put the pictures in the other computer. If someone interest of my fish, go to this thread: http://www.bettafish.com/showthread.php?t=101911
I think I need a different dispenser. Eyedroppers don't work, I need a syringe. I hope the kuhlis are okay. And the snails don't seem to like it. Now I see why my darn plants are eaten. So many baby snails that I never saw but they're coming out of the woodwork now, literally. *crawling out of driftwood*
