Olympia, thanks so much for the advice. He did eat a few at once because I was squeamish and just dunked the net to get however many were on there off. I've never seen anything quite like his belly, that's for sure. I hope the epsoms work. I've had three bettas die from blockages. They had camallanus worms and even though the meds killed the worms, the poor bettas couldn't push them out and got infections. :(

Laki, earwigs. Those things don't die. I have to flush them. They're impossible to squish except maybe with a hammer (leaves a dent in the floor) and when I tried rinsing them down the sink, they climbed back out! And potato bugs. The ones who roll up?

Nice drawing, Mo!

I live near a swamp. Tiny flying things all the time. I get them up my nose, down my throat and in my eyes when walking the dogs.

Caught my blue apple laying eggs. Actually have a couple nice shots... it's a shame I'll have to destroy them. One clutch already growing, don't need a second.

Soo nasty. And then by the summer the black flies are around eating us alive if we go anywhere near the water. And it's such a great place to canoe!

Looks like golden girl is looking for a spot to lay eggs too. Watch me wake up to two clutches.
