How long did you cook it for?
Maybe the carbon got separated in it and it's carbon?

I baked them for 10 minutes at 200 degrees F. When I took them out they were white and crispy so I just put them in the water. It's onnly today I noticed they're turning black on the bottoms. Should I take them out? o.O

Yea. I think they might make your water more acidic at this point. O.o
But I'm no Chem pro. :D

I think Amy is perking up! she jumped outta her QT tank, I had to scoop her out of the sorority from the other girls. Soon, when you don't have a ball of fluff on your lip. I think she is really feeling better. Water changing now! at least when salt dissolves.

lol no thanks!! I think mine are doing just fine on their own. Pond snails maybe not so good, assassins getting bullied a bit. I'll just move them all in to Bowsers's tank maybe. Lude is such a bully!
