Stem cells are also in cord blood. -pokes a few pages back- it's also why they say to freeze your kids cord blood cuz stem cells are basically cells that don't have a job yet, so you can make them do what you need them too. :)

Can the 3 snails I had just not be able to further breed? Like is there a cap on their gene pool? Bc I'm pretty sure the guy I got them off only started with a couple.

Either way, got a load of free pond and ramshorns today!! So I'm rejuvinating the gene pool :)

Yea, apparently the cord blood is good for if the kid gets leukemia?
I think it's expensive to have it stored though. o-o

y'see, I think stem cell research is wonderful. Think of the possibilities, growing organs, curing diseases, making peoples lives better....
