Neil, I know how you feel. I have a constant cough from allergies and my throat burns when my sinuses drain. Silverfang, I'm sorry about your plants.

I saves a few... the cabomba was the biggest culprit.

I got my 29 started, gonna take a small break before I add more water, it's heavy and tiring. And I'm not sure how much will soak into the soil and sand.

Then I have to siphon up dozens of baby trumpets... I do have that many.

Oh fun. I have to do a water change on my 40g goldfish tank. Yay...

I really like AquAdvisor though, it helps a lot.

I feed them high protein sinking crumbles, they eat it but I know they'd enjoy snail hunting better!

if I hadn't just set up my other tank ,I'd offer you a few dozen babies I mean babies! It's nearly half filled. Gotta finish steeping my wood... which oddly isn't staining the water. Then add the wood and the rest of my surviving plants. 3 bunches of cabomba, and some surviving rhizome from java fern.

My baby snails aren't growing anymore, they aren't doing well in the bucket. I don't know why. I feed them aand it's like they don't see it. I could put them back in a container and float them in the heated tank... but they would destroy themselves with ammonia

Most people dislike snails in their tank unless they are apple/mystery snails. XD

What does NPT stand for? Non-planted tank?

sorry for the double post, broke the 20 minute window.
Anyone have any idea what this is? It looks... weird. Finally the water is turning lightly. It's not boiling, but the wood is releasing air bubbles. And uh... well here's the picture.

EDIT: natural planted tank. Soil based. I'll post pictures after, I gotta go start a load of laundry.
