Maybe she's agoraphobic. It's happened before. She might be happy in a 1-2 gal for the rest of her life. o.O

She may be stressed out from the huge space.

We always have skunks, and sterbai now which are my favorites. And bronze, pygmies sometimes.

I REALLY want bumblebee gobies but the general public is split on whether they even belong in freshwater. :(

I hear they can survive if acclimated gradually but I don't know if they will THRIVE. It's kinda like the mollies thing. They'll survive but they might not thrive. I know at least one person on the forum has bumblebees in freshwater and they've been doing well. *shrugs* It's too confusing.

How do I tell? Seriosuly! She is just all happy swimming up and down and all around right now! What is that? Does that mean I should put her in my little 1 Gallon Bowl for teh rest of her life and get another betta?

I'm going to have to harass them to get panda cories in. I'm thinking 5. >.> Dont want to overstock in case I end up throwing a snail in there. The filter that comes with the tank is apparently really strong.

Well, you could try it. Or you can leave her in the tub for a few hours and see if she adjusts. Sometimes it takes a day or more for them to adjust to new quarters.

EDIT: If the only thing you're going to put it in the tank are cories and a betta, you can get 6-7 for pandas. But 5-6 for bronze cories. Pandas stay about 1.5" while bronze cories can get up to 3".

Okay, so I should put her back and see what happens? If nothing gets better at all in a day or so put her back in her cup?

Well on the TFK profiles I think there's at least 6-7 species. Only one is listed under brackish water, some in the freshwater say "may do better in brackish water" and two I think say "a true freshwater goby." The problem is all those freaking things look the same. We do have some at my fish store and they are adorable. My water is basic and hardish and I read that's usually enough.

at one of my lps (the one i don't like as much), they think all cories are the same, just and sell them all for $5 a piece. the other one i think the cories are all $3, but they at least try to tell them apart. sometimes.

Miah she might just be one of those picky fish that like smaller spaces!
