It's like betta style communism. Ask a question, get beat down.
I do have another forum I go to on occasion that really offers some of the best English advice around- because let's face it all the best aquarium advice on the Internet is in German. -bows to German aquarium geniuses-

For betta stuff and general nonesense I come here, for general fish knowledge I ask my dad. I also keep several books around for knowledge's sake.

But I've kept fish before so I know quite a bit myself. Of course it would be wise to listen to as many opinions as possible from multiple sources and then form a conclusion before taking action in any situation.
