I love that tank Mo!!

Question, I have all my snails on the floor eating peas and tums but should I put tums on the driftwood where I suspect tiny white dots are hatched snails?
And are the tiny white dots baby snails?? They're so hard to see!!

If you want it to be easier for them, yea I'd put a tum there. You have the soft water problem too? And yes those dots are snails. My glass is covered in them. Debating setting up a 10 gallon for some puffers just so I can have something to use the snails for.

I'm using tums as calcium.. I don't know if my water is hard or soft. It smells like chlorine when I use the taps ?? But I age the snails' water for a few days in pop bottles.

I just guessed cause you and silver are both in NL and she has crazy soft water. :p The tums are fine. I don't give mine anything and I'm overrun, so beware. xD

lol I WAAANT to be overrun! That's my evil plan. I fell in love with them though :< I've been keeping a few in each tank and my breeding tank, then, has lots of baby snells! I just added more tums. I hope Matt doesn't see it!! lol He'll freak since they're his tums for chronic acid. o.o
Oh my goodness, I haven't seen this much action in a long time! The pond snails are racing up and down the tank getting air and rushing back down for food! Ramshorns are eating and mating @-@
If Silver has soft water I probably do too, I think we even discussed this before.
*tugs on Olympia's shirt sleeve* um, how long will it take till I can see my baby snails better?

I just toss in a calcium tab once or twice a week. The snails love it.

Take a water sample into pet city, they can tell you if it's soft.
