So far, Sparky is ignoring his Ocean Nutrition Formula One frozen food cube but neither will he let me remove it from the tank. -__- But Sparky, the instructions say to remove uneaten food after 10 minutes . . .

and what is wrong with these fish? The ones i got in alaska never gave me issues with being in a divided tank..these new york fish...they all bit their damn fins >.< Is there any way I can make it so they cant see their won reflections in the glass?

are there any plecos that can go in a 20g or do they all get huge?

I say I want sand. My mother is all like NO. You need gravel. Um, no I do not NEED gravel. I WANT sand. Go get your own damn tank and decorate it if you want gravel.

Tiki, I haven't tried this yet but one thing I was considering as a divider was a piece of foam or filter media like this:

If you sandwhiched it between two plastic canvas sheets, you could also use the less stiff type like this:

Bear in mind that your flow will go down to almost zero so you might want to pick up airpump-driven filters like the Tetra Whisper 3i or Lee's Corner Box filters and put one in each section. If you don't filter each individual compartment, your water will get horribly stagnant and gross. Trust me on this.

Bristlenose plecos can go in 20gals.
