oh ew i need a heater too ;( gonna diiiiie from lack of money. tbh i'd rather treat the whole tank and change 290388924 gallons everyday than do a small container ;(

but other tan the little speckles of white, they are acting pretty normal. almost looks like bits of dust

oh i have ten gallon tanks maybe i could use one of them! i'd still have to get a heater.

i do have all those snails though...and idk how the plec and the cories would do with the salt?

If you have a 10gal, yeah, use one of those. What's your room temp? If the water in the 29 is consistently staying around 74-78 F, then take the heater from there. The danios and cories can tolerate lower temps like that easy.

EDIT: Can't treat the whole tank with the cories. They can be salt-sensitive. Also can't treat the whole tank if you have live plants. Live plants melt in saltwater.

Watch them for a day or so. If no one is darting or rubbing and the white spots disappear, you'll be fine and you won't have to worry about treating.

I just got a 29g tank gifted to me today, I'm guessing it would be best to move my Comet Goldfish to it, and use the 20 as a community. I wish I had enough room to give her friends..

Elizabeth, yeah. Since comets can reach up to a foot, even a 29gal will be a temporary home. It'd work fine if it was an egg-bodied fancy goldie though.

EDIT: My comet goldfish is in a horse trough. O.O
