What kind of headache is this? It's hard to find what can help when I don't know what to call it. I get these more than Jake does, but he gets them once in a while, too.
~Moderate to severe pain on one side of the front of the head, usually behind the eye, right above it, and the temple.
~Pain does not switch sides.
~Lasts anywhere from hours to days
~Longer ones come and go
~Pain is made extremely worse by any increased blood flow to that area -- i.e. laying on that side, bending over, excercise, getting up or laying down
~Is not accompanied by any stomach or vision problems
~No amount of over the counter pain medicine helps at all
it could be a kind of migraine, Elizabeth. everyone experiences them a bit differently. some people have totally symptomless migraines! mine are usually accompanied by visual problems, no amount of pain killers work, and i just sleep forever. go see a dr?
