Yep, pigs are great for tending fields. They also use geese for that too. The plants need to be a certain height for both. I once came home to a plowed goat pen, with a huge pig in it!

She escaped from down the road, came down the highway to my place, tore out the electric fence, chased the goats out, and plowed it all up and nested in front of the tiny goat shed. I was like O.O

She grunted at me, and i stayed away. I didnt know where she belonged and called the police for some help. They said, 'shoot her and eat her' WHAT!

Yeah you can do that if a pig destroys property. Nope. Couple days later an old man came and said it was his pig. I understood why she ran away from home. He asked if he could have her back, I said yes.

I went to visit her 2 days later and she had all these little piglets.. he offered me one, i said no.

Lot's of breeds are being made miniature now. Pets, and I think you get a pretty good meat/acre ratio, a lot of small farms are doing that now.

We don't eat red meat here. It sits in your gut way too long. o____o
I want to try ostrich meat so bad. Or alligator. We have a fancy butcher shop that sells stuff like that. We had the kangaroo once and it was awesome.
