I has a new fishie. A girl CT from walmart. She was all white and within 20 mins of putting her in an unheated (shut up) but filtered tank with my snail army, her fins turned dark red.

In a few days she is gonna go into the..er...harem.

My next betta shall be named Blitzkrieg. No I don't know why. Well, the book I was reading about described something like a kamikaze (hey that's my fish!) and then a blitzkrieg (hey good idea book!)

A tad blurry cause my fishy was uber happy :)
I purchased more anacharis for Spike. All but 1 of the original stalks from the 1st plant died. I'm not sure what killed them. Maybe I didn't use enough liquid fert? Or maybe the hair algae suffocated it?(Not likely in my eyes)

Oh yeah! I asked the associate at PetsMart if they would give me a free MTS(since they don't sell them) And the guy said "No because it is a liability issue. If you get 1 and suddenly you are over run with snails. Your unsatisfactory would be an issue." I then said "Oh and selling your cichlids isn't a liability issue? You could easily be selling a male and female to your customers. Same goes for your guppys."
Do you think 20 stalks would eat up all the ammonia Spike and Mr. Clean(pleco) would produce?
