It's not a very good sign that one of my honey gouramis is hanging out at the top for air, is it? Alas, I don't want to turn the heat down because I need to get rid of the ich. Fortunately, it's a gourami and it can breathe surface air. :/ I'd seriously try to catch the tetras but actually, I no longer have anywhere to put a tank and I still need to figure out how to treat Fabio the king betta for parasites. I think I'll have to treat him in his 3gal and kick the snail out. I already kicked the nerite out of the 20gal.
Why is this so complicated.
Can you add extra surface agitation, like a bubbler or something? That should help a bit. Posted via Mobile Device
These gnats or whatever they are in the house are driving me crazy. People in this area are having trouble with them right now. I'm going to have to buy a trap thing for these tomorrow. |:<
OOO Bengal kitties are nice :)
My bf registered me for my fall courses. Taking 5, looks like I'm in for a rough semester!
Oh, Saturday we're driving to New Brunswick's Magic water park. I forget what it's called!! oooooo I cannot wait! Though I'm scared to death of all those slides o.o
ooooo 30g !! What's going in it?
Olympia, I'm afraid to because of the oxygen and plants. They seem to be doing okay now. Otherwise, I'll lower the water level so the filter makes more of a splash.
I'm out of room to save fish. The fish I saved all turned out healthier than I thought and are thriving. :) Turnover at the Sakura Rescue Society is a little slow.
Fabio the king betta is now in a hospital tank in the garage being treated for internal parasites. He is not happy.
Champagne is not happy. Possible bacterial infection? No fuzzies. Only outward sign is a damaged and bloody pec. He was breathing heavily this morning, and hasn't move from his plant perch.
I added a bit extra conditioner in case... but don't know what to do otherwise.
