I looked them up....seems like a good tankmate for Cardinal Tetras or Pencilfish. And the come from Rio Nanay, around the same area. If your looking for weird fish, check out African Butterfly Fish. I nearly bought one myself.

ooo lol. crazy. I'll stick with my little bristlenose guy but they sound really adorbs.

one of my nerite snails has just been laying on it's side with it's foot/body thing stuck to the glass for awhile now
and earlier my pond snail was climbing on one of my trumpet snails.

The robocops are undescribed, belonging to the genus Nannoptopoma sp. "Peru" (not official). They are teeny tiny plecos, which are catfish.

Zebra pleco are nice but should live at high temperatures, 79-86F. They are poifect for discus tanks.

I may get a butterfly later on... don't know yet.

I LOVE African Butterfly Fish. I would've got one, if I wasn't worried about it eating one of my girls.....it also eats crickets :D I like to think of it as one of the closest things you can get to a reptile, while still a full fish. I like reptiles, but apparently keeping ones that dont climb in a closed tank in my closed room is "too risky", according to my Mom's logic.

Haha I want some for my bichir tank. But a friend's ABF got rammed accidentally by one surfacing for air and later died. It's one of those one a million things.... or is it?

Zebra plecos are so amazing. I want one. My LFS has one, has had it for months, 'cause it costs $400.

Olympia, I'm gonna do it. I'm gonna go get a baby black ghost knifefish for the 20gal. I should move by, I'd say April 2013 at the absolute latest, so I think I'm okay, right? 3 nonaggressive labidochromis chisumulsae or L. caerulus "Nkata Bay" and a little black ghost knifefish.

EDIT: Actually, mudskippers are probably the closest thing to reptile/full fish.
