Blue cambo girls are hard to find around here. I'd love one! Most of the girls I see at my Petsmart and Petco are the red cambos and teal girls. I got lucky when I found Weemiss, Winnie, and Lyssie. Real lucky.

my girls are a little aggressive. Fern and Lily have flaring wars all the time. I thought they were probably siblings because they came to the pet store in the same shipment but idk if thy actually are. They chase each other a lot (mostly Lily chasing Fern) and when Gigi gets annoyed she flares at them both. Peach and Kira are pretty Okay. Peach is just the sweetest girl I have. I'm not really sure why Cinderella got so beat up. or who the culprit is. but the 29 is pretty peaceful now, and so is Cinde's little personal tank.
Ugh yesterday when i was changing water, i realized Swish's water was FREEZING compared to the air. i guess his water was like 78 which is fine, but his heater is broken. Guess this fall I have to get 3 heaters.
My LFS occasionally carries them. I saw an awesome Blue Cambo at petco last month, but I was already buying Debbie and the other deceased fish, so i was out of room.
Edit: Yknow what I'd like? A Cambo sorority. A blue, red, green, yellow, black, copper, and multi Cambo. I know what your thinking, everything except for the red, blue, and green are marbles. Yup.
Hmm. By suitable you mean, different? You can't tell if they're suitable right in the cups can you?
My petsmart seems to have good variety. There was this adorable black female with the shortest stubbiest fins ever! She had the traditional fighter colours. My LFS keeps all their females together.. it's horrible, there's always a weak one dying off though, so I don't think I'd want to buy that whole group.
I saw a DT girl for the first time ever.. at petsmart. I couldn't get her so I told a friend who ran over and got her for her sorority. Loved her.
At least someone got her to a nice home.
I'm fairly certain I'll be able to find another. I remember back in.....wow, probably like 9 months ago, the LFS had amazing females. They had awesome quality of all the normal colors, but 2 really stood out to me. One was a huge, probably about 2.25 inch, VT girl that was tan. Not copper, like milk and coffee tan. The other was smaller, probably about 1.25 inches. She was a generic solid red VT....with blue dragonscales. I wish I'd bought that fish.
Edit: olympia, she looks like a marble :D I know this is probably a stupid idea, but you could always trade a fish she wants for that girl. Food for thought.
True.. 7 different girls? Holy poop that'd be hard to do. Also.. would you guys QT 7 fish from each other? :s I don't know if I have that kind of space. That's why I was leaning towards LFS females.. they're already all together so there's no point at all.
Diablo, tan is my favourite betta colour. I've seen one fish that had that perfect colour on AB.. that's it. :( It's so.. epic..
