Oh ok. My snail was doing nothing all day.

Has it moved lately? All I know is that dead snails stick out of the shell and really, really smell. Is it a big mystery/apple snail or is a nerite? Nerites seem to be more nocturnal than mystery snails.

He's moving pretty fast right now after I turned down the lights. :D

Pet store listed it as a mystery snail.

my snails lay on their back and stick their fleshy parts out into the water...no idea what they are doing when they do that. They also float on the surface with the fleshy part on the surface and the shell down... feeding from the surface i guess...??

If my chinchilla has fleas someone will die

I remember I was pretty amazed when I first saw my mystery snail float.

I just saw a thing on TV about a woman with a shoe fetish. She had a pair of platform shoes that had clear soles and a goldfish was in it. T_T I want to do something very bad to this woman. Who will come with me to NY to track her down and make her pay? Apparently, these types of shoes were very popular during the '70's. Just google goldfish in shoes and prepare to cry and be angry at the same time.

The one they showed on TV was awful. The poor goldfish (looked like a fantail) was gasping at the surface. I hope the lady who owns those shoes breaks her legs and breaks 'em bad.

And on that highly cheery note, I'm going to bed. Night my friends.

Doing the "no chinchilla fleas" dance for you, Tiki.

when my snail, Bea, died, she went into her shell and never came out

e: Fern looks quite a bit better today. Yesterday i thought she had scales ripped off her head. Today she looks back to normal.
