I've never seen such an emaciated fish. Most of their bettas look okay but a few really look bad, like this guy. :( They had just changed the water in the cups so I have no idea how bad his water was before.
oh, the cat kisses is so sweet. lol. I have a cat that used to give kisses, but doesnt now, and then skitty kitty, she nibbles on your cheeck, or sometimes bites if you are petting her a lot. Shes funny, she purrs and talks at the same time and then bites you. She also barks like a dog if Im not paying attention.
OH god, hes so thin... good luck. Sorry about fish tail beint chewed off. Perhaps he was just holding still and hiding, and one just went by.
God that poor fish, dont you wish you could give intervenes food?
My fish left boise some time tonight and im only an hour away, i hope they get inside tonight, and dont sit out in a smaller truck.. oh its only getting down to like 65-69 so they will be fine, lol.
Aahnay, yes, I do wish I could put a little IV in the poor guy. I just don't know how he could get that thin. He has bursts of energy if I touch him, which I've been doing to lift him up so he can breathe. But otherwise, he can't move. I lowered the water even more so he's got an inch over him.
Two of my kitties love to lick. They'll wash your hand and arm for a half hour, easy. One girl bites for no reason. My baby boy likes to bite too. Come to think of it, a lot of my cats bite. :/
So, Iris had escaped, she's back in her box with a bit of canvas to prevent her from escaping again. The other vieing for title of alpha is out and strutting... with her chewed up fins. She looks like she was a fin biter. Only one with damaged fins. But she is big, and thick, and very dominant... I think she's a good choice. Iris might be banished to living on the desk.
