Fishman, just watch him around the siphon, don't want to suck him up like I did my Sherman. ^_^ One of my girls attacks the siphon when I clean the sorority.
Cool, have fun cleaning the sand . . . not. It will take an hour, probably, but it's worth it. Cloudy sand water can clog the filter like crazy.
my pool filter sand really wasn't too bad to clean. makes sense since it's meant to just be dumped into the filter and would be bad if it messed up the pool, lol
Haha, that's true, isn't it? They just hang there, so determined to eat something, anything at all . . .
I should have used that instead, the aquarium sand is so fine it's almost unbelievable. But the cories love it so hey, I'll deal with it. They leave the cutest little finprints in the sand when they go scuttling around.
and they look up at you like "well, if it's not edible, why are you sticking it in my tank?" lol
I like the pool filter sand, it's pretty natural looking I think and doesn't get sucked up very easily since it's a larger grain
