I don't think of it that way, and its def not over-rated. Your just a negative nancypants.
We've been in a relationship for 5 years, and it's long-distance. I honestly appreciate and cherish the time we get to spend together. Ive had freedom this entire time and I still choose him. It's love. :)
Hey..... My mom and my now step-father had a long distance relationship too for about 4 years... Good thing was.. my step-father had night shift, so we had the same time.
My aunt and her now ex had a super messy, super nasty divorce after she caught him in their bed with another woman. Their youngest, the only one who is still young enough to need a legal guardian, has been caught in the cross hairs of their bitter battle and now has a permanent look of deep sadness in her eyes. Poor kid.
And this was after 20 or so years of marriage.
As for calling me a Negative Nancy Pants, it may be true that I am a pessimist, and anti relationship. But I have good reason to be.

Yes he can Olympia. It may have to be a white one though. :3
The game went good, I almost gave myself a freakin concussion smacking my head with my flag on the field. But, the football team won! We never win! Ever! :D
I honestly wouldn't have said yes if there was even a shred if doubt in my mind that we would end up divorced. Neither of us believe in divorce, he was involved in a MESSY divorce as well with his mom and Dad. So we def thought this decision through before any questions were asked. (:
