fun fact: female angler fish are like the ones in finding nemo. the males are wayy smaller. in the deep ocean when a male and female meet, the male attaches himself to the bottom of the female and basically gets absorbed into her body. she stores his sperm in case she can't ever find another male..

yeah he dies. he first has to kind of bite into her and then she grows around him. i only know that she stores his sperm..but he doesn't get released or anything so i guess she uses the rest of him for nutrition
