One of my roborovski hamsters escaped and I thought she was gone for good. Its very stressful having a hamster the size of a golf ball out and about instead of in her cage where she should be. Especially since we are fostering 3 kittens who know very much how to hunt (their mother is a stray tabby who hunts to supplement her diet, although she gets plenty of handouts from a kindly old lady who has since taken her in and had her spayed).

Yes, she is back in her cage , all safe and sound. Although she is pawing furiously at the sides of it to get back out. I guess the taste of freedom she had was good and she wants more.
