I don't want to get a tattoo. Don't get me wrong. I'm all for self expression through body art, but its just not my thing to sit in a chair whilst a needle penetrates the same spot of skin over and over again for a couple hours. I already had to use syringes when I was going through GH therapy.
See, I used to be really really short as a kid. I was always the shortest kid in my class. Mom was concerned, my pediatrician said I wouldn't reach 5 feet without help. So I was tested and sure enough, my pituitary gland (that's the gland that produces growth hormone, which makes you grow) wasn't producing much growth hormone. In other words, I had GHD (Growth Hormone Deficiency). So, I was prescribed a course of growth hormone therapy to help boost the growth hormone in my system. Had to inject artificial growth hormone into body every night for 6 nights a week, with one night of resting, for a year. Not fun. Now I am of average height. 5'3". Its alright, I guess. Beats having my leg bones cut and stretched out. Its what people have to do when their growth plates, these soft bits of the bone that grow fast throughout childhood, are fused.
So yeah. I am not getting a tattoo.
Meh. So tired. Need sleep. Haven't slept since night before last. Can't function properly. Later all.
