Btw if you want to catch that fry I suggest a brine shrimp net, wider surface area than a baster.. I caught all the molly fry with a net, it was easy :D

That is so hilarious about the fish giving birth in the bag! LOL... i would die.

I used to have tons of platies, and they always had babies. At first I tried to save them, with plastic breeders etc, but it stressed the females a lot in my opinion. So, when I last had platies the one female gave birth in the tank. All but 1 fry got eaten by the other fish. I had the true Finding Nemo moment... found him hiding in a plant, all big eyed, and said.. "*gasp*! I'll call you... Nemo...." He grew up in my tank, amidst his mom, a few other platies, a gourami, and a male betta {{{Sunny <3}}}.

and Tauski got a new decoration too. You can see him hiding by the plant. He has been swimming around alot more lately. Not sure if its the tiki hut or he is feeling better. And his fins are growing back nicely too :)



Still stress striped though. I never seen a male with the stripes before


Amaratsu is still tiny and has a whole 5 gallon to herself


Barron von fishy fins is no longer living in a storage container, he even has a Heater...OOOOH AHHHH


Grumpy's tail biting seems to be getting worse....he has the whole 10 gallon to his damn self too


Sushi has a tail now :) (she's on the left) and she and Icicle are still living the the refridgerator crispers...

THE dogfish -GAH you should see his hair now...after john got the great idea to shave him himself...ya know those pics of pets they showed after Katrina and the earthquake in Japan? He looks like that now. Huge lumps of hair then big bald spots...


The new guys

SAnoske - found him at petco. They must of just gotten a shipment recently. He's hard to get pics of cause he is in a frosted storage container. He's green/mustard yellow HM. I was worried about him cause his gills were moving rapidly but he seems fine now. There was nothing wrong with this guy, I wanted him cause he was pretty...


and then Balthazar came from walmartz tonight. He's a creamish pinkish VT. I'm open to names on him but for some reason Balthazar came to mind... maybe General Balthazar GayGoats?
I dont have a pic of him yet...
