There aren't many things closed on Thanksgiving. I mean, most shopping malls and government offices are but food places, drugstores, gas stations, etc. . Are all open. I'm thankful for that because we had serious cravings for cookies and went to the gas station to get some from country style.
Yay to moving out!! I was so excited when I moved out a thousand years ago. Never looked back, though I wish sometimes I didn't have to pay rent and bills!

Yuuie, I'm glad you got to eat yesterday though.

Laki, haha! Lot of places here close for Thanksgiving although gas stations do stay open.

Aww, Elizabeth. :( *hugs*

My problem with getting another betta is I have sushi in the 10 gal. community. And if I got another one he'd probalby be in a 2.5 or 5 gal. And I'd feel mean to give one a 10 and another a 5.

Hospital tanks everywhere. So Aqua is in her kritter keeper with Pancake floating in his cup in there. She looked great yesterday but now I see she's starting to pinecone, dangit. Discovered Curlin has camallanus worms so now he's in a kritter keeper next to her while I wait for the medicine. Fortunately his tankmate looks okay. One of my congos has cottonmouth or something like that but it's just going to have to stay put. It's active and eating so maybe it's just sapro or something . . . all out of hospital tanks.

Me too. I think the congo will be okay and Curlin should be okay once I get the meds since he's still eating but I'm worried about Aqua. Sigh. Fishies.
