They dissolve after a while. I use Hikari Mini Algae Wafers because the big ones made such a mess. But now I just give the snails cucumber anyway.

I'm assuming hes about that old, because I got him at the end of January, and he was about the size he is now when I got him. He's still active and eats like a pig, he doesn't act old, he is just starting to look it. :(

Oh.. So I'll just drop a half wafer down?? My sister gave me 2 types. Algae wafers and something for bottom feeders with little bits of what looks like veggies.
