I used to be able to get them in Fairbanks at an anime/comic shop.
When i had free admission to Disney world, I would get all kinds of japanese goodies from the Japan Pavillion at EPCOT.

Why does japan get all the cool stuffs?

There were 2 asian grocery stores in Fairbanks. One I think was Korean and the other..not sure but the owner was Philipino. The korean one was not as cool as the other one. The other one has all sorts of funky drinks. Lychee drinks, aloe drinks, Thai Tea, ginger root something or other drinks...

On another note, why the heck make mushrooms out of chocolate? Is it some sort of conspiracy?

These things are in like every store here. Some people don't even appreciate them they're so good. They come in reg bars, little balls, eggs, and flavored drink. I LOOOVE mint aero! I can send you some lol

Now that you mention yakisoba, I DID try Japanese. Well, pseudo-Japanese. There's a place in the food court that sells Japanese food. The cooks/workers were Japanese so it's as close to get considering it's a fast food place in the mall. Their tofu costs an extra dollar to throw on (An entire thing of tofu costs 1.69 at the grocery store ) but I love love love love love soba noodles!
