I think its more the curved spine that is why they think its TB but I was worried about the red cheeks.

I'd be worried about the curved spine if she had all the other symptoms too. But she doesn't so I think she's just got a spinal defect.

So I'm QT my plants before I put them into my tank and what do I see...A worm like creature crawling around. EEeeeeK! What the heck could that be?

No. The planaria actually came from the substrate when you moved the plant. Tanks all have planaria but sometimes if you overfeed or have a lot of organic waste, the population blooms and becomes visible. Then you just grav vac the little buggers up. Easy peasy. :)
