Iris was gone this morning. She was breathing hard so I knew it was coming

I am so sorry, Silverfang. :( Poor Iris. I'm glad she didn't linger if she was breathing hard like that. It's so hard to watch.

Am so tired of going to the vet. Now Rizdee has an ingrown claw on his hind foot. Starting to grow into his paw pad. Going in soon to have the tech trim it.

Sorry about the job Bekah :( Another, better one will come your way :)
Sorry about Iris Silver!
Hope Rizdee is a good little kitty cat at the vet and the claw isn't infected or anything, Sakura!
I saw my mom's tank today.. I don't even know how she manages. It's a 1 gallon and I keep wanting to bring her my spare 3g for it but if she can't clean the 1g, how will she manage the 3?! So frustrating. Her betta's tail tips are curling (its a VT) and his beard is white.. Is that good or bad?

If his beard wasn't always white, it's bad. :( Poor guy. But at least with a 3g, he'd have a few extra days before the water went toxic. In a 1 gal, it's about 72 hours or so. I do about a 75% a week on my 3gals.

I hope Riz behaves too. Going in later this evening because my dad (my ride) has things to do now. He's usually pretty good at the vet, not like Kelsey was. At least we don't have to make an appt. It's drop in with a vet tech.

I just texted her, my mom. I guess you're right, the 3g would be better but I don't think mom cleans it once a week, judging by the amount of water that had evaporated (she doesn't even put the heat on in her apt) and the clumps of dirt sitting at the bottom.. Poor fish, every time I go down the fish is terrified of people too, she had it since March or April 2012. She does keep IAL in it all the time though. I'll bring up the new tank this week - it has a light too so the fish can get used to being a fish.

Lots and lots of people post here.

Laki, well, the IAL should help just a little bit at binding ammonia and keeping it clean. Poor fishie.
