My betta is 5 months old and 1 1/4-1 1/2 inches long is that to small?

We put Toadie to sleep today. I cried a little at the vets, but I am very at peace with our decision. Toadie knew happiness till her last moments and that is what makes it okay, that she didn't suffer at all.

We came home and buried her under our lilac tree and plants pretty purple and white flowers that we had growing in some hanging baskets over her. I think she is happy still and still running around, she just is in Rainbow Bridge watching me instead of the bedroom. :)
