Well it's not really good to show off the curls. This was 11pm after I spent half an hour trying to take a photo because I can't take photos of myself. Meaning my hands are way too small to hold the ipod and take a photo. xD

@Olympia, I've permed my hair once. The effects remained for a year and I never did keep up with the style. When the curls were gone my hair was wavy for almost a year.
I do not like having to maintain it. I am one who just brushes their hair every morning and lets it lay as it lays. I only put it up into a pony tail for sports or cleaning.

Perms aren't too bad as long as you don't overdo it. If you got your hair permed every 3-6 months, you'd fry it. But once a year will be fine. Using a shampoo/conditioner made for chemically-treated hair also helps.

Nawh, doesn't seem worth it. I like it straight too so, that'd be annoying. xD Looks good cause it's so different, every day would just get boring.

I spooked my algae into control (not leaving the light on for 12+ hours) but now I think the plants are adjusting but suffering. Black leaves. I don't have a set time anymore for the light bc I'm gone to school all day. So it's either turn it on and go to school and turn it off when I get home (which sucks bc I don't see them) or leave it off all day and turn it on when I get home in afternoon then turn it off 11pm.. I am currently going with the latter but sometimes I don't get home right after 3pm.

Whatever. I'm so TO'ed at plants I could throw them all out anyway.

for those with aquaclear filters - mine came with no box or instructions. On the bottom of the aquaclear 70 is a plastic switch like thing. What is it for?

and what kind of media do you use in yours? I'm gonna replace what it came with - sponge, bag of..carbon?? and small ceramic suff. What's the ceramic stuff for? and will the carbon take the plant ferterlizer stuff out of the water? I usually skip the carbon unless i need it for something like mediine removal
