So the betta-in-the-community-tank attempt did not go over well. He didnt nip at anybody but was flairing up a storm at anyfish that swam by, which made him look regal and manly..er...fishly?. He was stressing everyfish including himself out so back to the 1/2 gallon he went. Before anyone gets all huffy, I'm treating for fin rot, i.e., water changes and AQ salt treatment daily, which is infinitely easier to do in a 1/2 gallon. Good news is his regrowth has been quite rapid.

Sure its fin rot?? If he has fin rot it was something he had for a while. Torn fins don't automatically get rot. Maybe I missed something.

My back is dead again today. It's the way I sleep . Sleeping on my sides stiffen my shoulders and neck and sleeping on my stomach with my legs splayed out everywhere make my back hurt in the morning. And Oliver. I'm not talking to him. I was sleeping in today. For an extrs hour because Oliver was trying everything to wake me up. Now he wants to play so he's bothering Bunny so I'll chase him. fdkjvbejdgv

Yes its rot. He's a butterfly and had only the colored part. Now he has the clear again before the red.

quick question, They P.H. in my tank is on the 8.4 maybe higher should I and can I lower it? My betta and 3 platys are in there. I did get 2 more platys and 3 plants about a week or two ago if that helps at all.

I have an old habit trails that was in the crawlspace (was not mine) but I didn't liek the way it was put together. I used to keep hamsters and gerbils in glass tanks so this is the first time I've ever used a cage.
