Kinetic- Mkae sure you get a good wheel. For my little campbell I use a 6 inch silent spinner, they are amazing wheels, and i'd highly reccomend them. The only thing I can say about taming is to go slow. Really slow. I have sucessfully tamed 2 hamsters, one to the point where it was comfortable enough with me to fall asleep in my arms (syrian, lived 2 yrs, died in July :[), and the other to be able to crawl around on me (my current one, bought in august). I don't touch mine for the first 24-48 hours, and after that start with just putting my hand in the cage or to give treats. Then you progress into them crawling onto my hand in the cage, and then out of the cage. After a few weeks they are tame. :) I like robohamsterify's videos on youtube. They are a WEALTH of information on dwarves. I can't wait to see some pics of the little guy! ;D

Thanks! She can be annoying too. Like right now; I've pushed her off me 3 times already because she is ANNOYINGLY hot right now.

I wish I could always live in a tropical place. !! Too cold here. I HATE Atlantic Canadian winters. So wet and cold and saturating. I like the hot chocolate and stewing in scalding showers but I hate going outside.
What to trade places?! I'd love to have some more cold weather. I LOVE LOVE LOVE winter.

The furthest place I applied to is a 6 hour drive from here, so not that bad.

Uh Fishy... before you ask for one of our winters, consider this; Thousands of Newfoundlanders and other "Snow Birds" go south for the winter. How many Floridians come to the slush and ice and freezing?

Haven't met one yet.

When I worked at Dominion last winter, there were some people up from down south lol They didn't like the wet, wind, slush, or slop but they liked that christmas was actually snowy (they were here visiting family or something)

I would hibernate if I could. Or go south, but I don't think my pastel white pasty skin could handle it.

Milly, my nerite, was acting like such a drama queen for like an hour and a half. I put her on the betta hammock (because they sink like a stone if you don't put them in carefully) and she couldn't get off it! She's off now, just figured it out. The little pond snail is long gone. I hope he lays eggs soon. I might name him Brutus.

I bought some frozen daphnia today. Mostly for Nemo because he has chronic swimbladder problems.
