Mo, I dunno, books and magazines all say food goes stale within a month after being opened. Don't open any containers until you need them. Also, freeze the containers you don't need. They'll stay fresher longer.
Ah, Fishy. Yeah, I was going to bring that up but forgot. As Olympia said, the fancy goldies can tolerate higher temps than we think BUT higher temps mean lower oxygen levels so it's important to have good oxygenation. A bubbler/airstone is right on. :)
