try anubis nana. I let them float and my boys nest under them all the time.

Fishy, that a 48" or 60" fixture? I -looked- a double tube either T5 or T8 fixture at the hardware store since, y'know, CHEAPER. But 48" was the smallest size, and even that wouldn't have worked. One day when I have a place I can put a nail in the wall or ceiling. Suspended light fixtures :D

Anacharis can grow pretty fast. They seem to grow really fast when they are under the filter flow :)

I thought I would never see it but I just saw the Hobbit!! Soooo goooood!!!

Any plant will do just fine, provided needs have been met. Lighting and food needs. Usually any floater will do fine. Anacharis, hornwort. But the bushles pet stores sell might be too much for a 1 gal.


On a side note: got the velcro attached
