Saw your thread. You won't be able to keep them with Kuhlis. African cichlids gotta be kept with other cichlids only, you will need to get pH to around 8.5 (probably will require aragonite substrate to do this which you buy at the pet shops.) Rocks and wood only as they will completely destroy pretty much any plant. And cichlid group dynamics are weird and can't help you there as to gender ratios and such. Posted via Mobile Device
I have buffalo head cichlid juvies in with the goldies, even though they are African they aren't from the rift lakes, they live in rivers, supposed to be more docile but they are getting quite rude.. Posted via Mobile Device
My sister mentioned that there are no snails moving around in her tank. I go look and find all but like 2 dead. Her toxic sluge water killed my snails
Water hasn't been changed in like a month and I forgot the tank had to recycle due to the new filter. Feel bad for the goldfish but ITS NOT MY TANK
cichlids jsut don't do it for me..although the yellow ones are purdy
Oh Olympia! NZW are such sweeties! They're the longest residents at my rescue too.
Your old rabbit zooming in its cage was her trying to exercise- rabbits are crespucular which means they are most active at dawn and dusk. Bunny binkies are a whole other story! Little clowns, they can be.
Ludendorff is staring mindlessly at Milly, who meandered across the divider. Milly is good at doing that.
I'm having another want-new-tank urge. Someone on kijiji is selling 10g tanks and another person is selling molly's. And another is selling guppies. (though I do NOT want a guppy problem! worse than rabbits).. *sigh* where to put another tank....
