Nice FishyFishy! What's that tank gonna be used for?

Lol it has been a while since I've posted something or been on this forum for more than 15 minutes. I'd say I've had the time but it's been hard to find any extra time for here with school starting up again. I had a test on thursday then one yesterday, and yet another on Monday. Lol and then I got finals next week. But I can't really complain since its good to see friends again. I've caught some kind of cold over night but it's getting better already. I saved enough energy to clean the tanks.

I'm sure it's colder in the east but here in cali it usually doesn't get below 40 like we've seen the past week.

That's nice fishy!! Pudgy gang. Any idea when you can go get them??

Making tea. Dunno which kind yet.

I have such a craving to go shopping! gaahhhrr I don't even have money for goodness sake. I want to go get vitamin B to see if it will help me feel better, a new tank and stuff for that, I just want to go shopping.

I don't think I'll be able to get a blue gourami which breaks my heart. I emailed the lfs to see where they get their dwarf gouramis in from. If only I had a larger apartment!

Ive been watching my petsmart with their fish for the past month. And they're doing great. This one actually has QT tanks in the back for when new stock comes in. Ima get 3-4 fantails and 1 black moor. The bottom feeders are gonna be 3 dojos.

Idk when exactly. Maybe next weekend if the seals hold. Testing them out Monday. Thinking about testing now. The seals feel ready. They're harder and not completely gooy feeling.

All the black moors I've seen are a bronzy black. Which I think looks wicked cool. The black moor will be hubby's fishy. He'll be giving it an inappropriate name. But I'll be calling it Popeye! xD

I just went and got a new air pump for the Pudgy home. It says it is for 20-60 gallons. Should be decent enough right? It'll be powering 2 wands on the sides of the aquarium and MAYBE a sandfall. So I put the smaller one in Spike's tank for the shrimpies.
Anyone ever follow these guidelines or used a "check valve"?

Oh yes, almost a sure bet that the black moor will get orangey. It's a genetics thing, pet store fish generally lack the "thick black" genes and have "thin black" which isn't replaced as the fish grows. Spirulina in the food can counter this to a degree, but you can't fight with the genes for very long.
