Haha I used to have a leaf litter covering the entire bottom of one of my tanks and my kuhli loach loved it. I used to see its little whiskered head up under the leaves snuffling about in the mulm. I never used to be a fan of them until I had one for a while.
I forgot to feed Oliver dry food today! oops! Part of my don't-give-in-and-feed-him-first-thing-in-the-morning ritual but today I went on to school without feeding him. I just gave him a can of food and he's not mad anymore.
SO I also woke up to 2 shrimp sheds. One was still attached to the moss ball. What does it look like when they molt? They must just pop out of their skin. It looks dreadfully like ghost shrimp!!
I much prefer the shrimp molt to a bunny molt. o-o There was bunny fur all over my boots today from plucking. And I have it in my hair, eyes, nose.. Ugh I hate it when she sheds.
Headache on the back of my head as if I struck it.
Shrimp molts look exactly like a shrimp. Their molts will include the antennas, legs and even the eye sockets. So cool looking.
Here's one of my amanos' sheds
lol I meant what does it look like when they physically molt? I know the clear thing is their molt and to leave it in.. thanks for the pic though!! My camera sucks for macro.
Also, when they pop out of their old skin and go hide (because I read they feel vulnerable) how much do they grow each time?? AND how often do they molt?
I really need a lamp for my loft. It is like my Office/Library where I do all my studying but the light from the windows, stairs, storage room up there and Bedroom really don't cut it after the sun starts to set.
