How warm is it in Fl?? I know anything would die if it was shipped here -20C out there now with the wind chill.

So I am reading my primary source for seafaring. I chose a captain on a slave ship and the writing is just awful. He describes the Africans as if they are animals. I mean, the popular thought at the time (1800's) was simply preposterous! Violent activities and all.

The tabby in my avatar is REALLY good at streaking into the master bedroom really fast when we open the door to go in or out and run under the bed (off limits to protect Gpig). She used to jump on the bed and wallow around in the sheets when she got in, but soon figured out we toss her out, so she has gotten sneakier.

We have to like guard the door way with our feet (kinda like playing soccer, haha! )

One of these days she is gonna get accidenaltly stepped on or kicked ..

About the weather- I STILL want more snow!!! (yea, I am crazy, but we haven't had enough of it here lately and we have been having spring-like temps. most of the winter season).

YAY they're coming!! How exciting!

Pearl, you WANT snow? please, come to Newfoundland and take it then. Way too much here and I'm feeling generous. AND my city has the worst snowclearing in North America I would be willing to bet. We had our last drop of snow last Tuesday or Wednesday and only today were the sidewalk clearers out by my school clearing snow. This is typical, and its outrageous but Pedestrians in St. John's are totally ignored. We have to walk on the roads in the winter with about a foot of clearance (if we're lucky) from the traffic. There is a stat of at least one death each winter in my city.

**oh my goodness, I was telling you to come take our snow. Turned it into a rant. woops.

Tiki, try the NIC cubes and make a barrier so Chinchiri cannot get under the bed. Works like a charm for rascally rabbits.
