when using the API test kits, what do yall do when you miss count drops? Like if it's between 1-2 drop difference?

Alas, making a video of the current survivors. They're still kickin'. Hourly ammonia test showed ammonia down to 2-3ppm

Be sure if you adjust the ammonia to do it slowly, same as with ph otherwise they could go into shock.

I've been drip acclimating them. So far it appears to drop 1ppm every hour-ish. I have them in a tubberware, inside a bucket. When their water level gets within an inch of the top of the tubberware i take out a cup of the water/pour it down the sink. So far their looking good. Open fins, bright colors and they're roaming around a bit. Mostly hiding in the piece of anacharis I put in with them.

I need to get on the lap top and get a ton of forum business done, gr, sorta fell behind.

I saw a betta with the mystery disease at the mall, he had the grey flesh going up his tail. Covered in white fungus too. Not buying bettas for a while.

Yes that IS a turkey baster and I wonder how many people buy them for 6.99. I mean, they don't even hide the design. They just repackaged the turkey baster as a "betta bowl cleaner"..

Need to change some shrimp water.. I think Oliver dragged the cord on the heater in there so it was sticking out all day and the temp is low 70s.. Hopefully it pulls through. I can't afford another heater!!

Oh, sorry to hear about the loss of the floater Fishy :( Some make it, some dont. I hope he wasn't paired with another one yet! Or are they too young for that?

Seed shrimp seem to be thriving in their betta cup of dying salvinia and cold water. Still can't bring myself to chuck them down the sink.
