o. im into model trains right now. im making one right now when im halfway done i'll post a pic. waiting for a shipment right now.

I had a family friend who loved Lionel model trains. He was a member of a model train group and he knew a lot about them. Sadly, he passed away in 2000. But to this day, I can't see a train and not think about him.

okay. so i think i decided i like continental style knitting, and long tail cast on.

also diet coke. i love diet coke.

I love long tail cast on. It's the only one I use. Never did pick up continental though. I'm so happy you're doing so well with knitting. :D

i wouldn't say "well" i started my pillow over like four times then just scrapped it and am just practicing things now. think i'll buy some better yarn this week to work on my pillow. i have all the super saver yarn from when i knifty knitted, but it feels so rough on my needles!

and idk i just like controlling the yarn with my left hand. leaves my right hand to do other things lol.

Don't wanna sleep. i wanna knit and watch the Rodgers and Hammerstein Cinderella with Brandy and Bernadette Peters and sing until I cry.

But i still need better yarn.

I have had a stomach ache for most of the night and the cats were able to unlock the bedroom door and come in in the early am.. grrr... I think this means until they learn to keep their little paws off the door knob, they get to be locked up at night..

Aw I wish I could quilt.. Or crochet... or do needlework better than I can. I also wish Ludendorff didn't bite half his tail off without giving me an explanation. Gone. Months of growing it.

Also, all my shrimp came out to eat- I counted 10 but the males are really small. The females' saddles are moving down their backs so there will be tiny tiny babies soon.

I wish I had a better game plan for dealing with planaria and seed shrimp in this tank too. I suck them out as I see them but it doesn't seem to be denting the populaiton.
